| Hey everyone~
My Japanese friend, Hiroko, came to stay with me last week Tuesday-Saturday. We had a lot of fun. She was very quiet, but she was really cute. Her English wasn't perfect, but it's to be expected. I miss her now that she's gone.
Wednesday, I met one of my German friends, Lena. Omg. She talked faster than I do with hardly an accent and she never shut up. I was like "omg...stop talking." lol We went out to eat and then walked through Central Park. My fave part of the night:
Lena: We should go to the beach with your friends...and Patrick's friends...[to pat] Would you like that Patrick?
Pat: What?
Lena: I'll hang out with your friends.
Pat: I don't have any friends.
Lena: Oh, very funny.
Pat: ...[to me] She thinks I'm joking.
Me: [to Lena] He doesn't really have any of his own friends. He just hangs out with mine.
Pat: [to me] I don't like your friends.
Me: [to pat]Well, you like most of them. Just not those ones.
Pat: I have no friends.
Lena: Oh...We will hang out with your shared friends.
HAHAHAHA. I love it.
Now, tomorrow I leave for Spain/Greece. OMFG! I hafto fly outta Newark (New Jersey) which is retarded since I live on Long Island. But, whatevz. We have to leave the house around 3. My flight is at 7:10 and it's about 8 hours long. It will be 9:15 in Barcelona when I get there (they're 6 hours ahead.)
I'll miss you all.

| So, what has happened since last post?
I saw Pirates of the
Caribbean: At World's End. It was okay. I'm not going to say good.
First of all, the marriage part was absolutely retarded. Seriously. I
was freaking out in the theater while watching it. "What the hell are
they doing?!" Also, the 9 pieces of 8: how could Barbossa be one of the
9 if he started out as first mate? Ya know? Like he shouldn't have been
included in that at all. It's so dumb. The last part was Calypso. I
thought that whole part was really cool, but then she didn't do
anything. The only thing she did was take Davey Jones. That was
pointless. Both ships survived her little whirlpool.
In other news,
L'Arc~en~Ciel's new single "SEVENTH HEAVEN" was released. Just when
everyone was saying that their songs were predictable, they make a
dance song. So random. But, even though the song is something that they
usually don't do, it was extremely L'Arc. I loved it strangely enough.
Well, how could I not? I love L'Arc.
Two nights ago when Pat came
over, he brought Mario Kart. I'm sorry, but that game is amazing. lol
It wasn't the original one. I'm not sure which one it was. But, we were
doing awesomely unlocking everything b/c he didn't bring the memory
card. Then, we were doing the Mirror All Cup and Wario and Baby Mario
beat us by one point. We were so annoyed. He was cursing at the screen
for a good 5 minutes. Haha. It amused me.
I was thinking of becoming
a history major with a minor in music history. But, next semester, I'm
gonna be a junior and I haven't really done anything to complete the
requirements for those majors. So, I don't know. I really like world
history though. I was also thinking of getting my master's at LIU in
Library Science. We shall see. | | |
| I went to the POPS concert last night. OMG. It was so awesome. Sure, the year after I graduate, they use a projector, lower the Declaration of Independence, and have a disco ball. They also did the "Thriller" dance. I'm so jealous. I really wanted to be up there doing it too. It looked like so much fun.
In other news, I'm going to be working a lot. Fun times.
Also, June 12-17 my Japanese friend Hiroko is going to be staying with me. June 20, I'm meeting my German friend Lena in the city. June 23-July 14 I'll be with Barbara in Spain and Greece. Yay!

| I only have one final. Monday at 11:30. It's Spanish, so it should only take me like 15 minutes or so depending on how long the professor makes it. I was able to sell all of my textbooks from both semesters (except 3) for a total of $239. It sounds good but it really isn't considering I payed about $800 for them all. | | |
